I'm thinking about buying proactive, what should I choose as my free gift?

The past few months my face has been breaking out.. I don't know if it's because of stress or what. I tried the Neutrogena "Complete Acne Therapy System".. in the first couple of days my skin looked a little better. but now it's a new week and I'm breaking out again! I just started birth control and it's supposed to help with my skin as well. I was wondering which is better.. the proactiv deep cleansing wash or the refining mask? Any tips for good skincare would be helpful too. I think I have a pretty good diet, and I drink water. but I don't get much sun? Do tanning beds help acne??
